Lista Indomable: Las 5 de Thaw

Cuando miembros de bandas como Sun For Miles, ARRM y Furia se unieron para crear THAW en 2010, difícilmente se imaginaban que al cabo de poco estarían debutando con “Decay”, tratado de inquebrantable contundencia a medio camino entre el black metal y su vertiente más experimental.

Si le sumamos algo de electrónica, improvisación y noise, el resultado llega desde Polonia, responde al nombre THAW, y tras haber girado incansablemente durante años, tomaron la pasada edición de PrimaveraPro y Primavera Sound.

Les pedimos que nos dieran sus cinco indomables. Canciones, videos y artistas que les hagan volar la cabeza y esto nos respondieron:

1. Earth – «Rise to GLory»

One of the greatest instrumental tracks I’ve ever heard. And it sounds great too !

 

2. Einstürzende Neubauten – «Sabrina»

Well…this band creates breathtaking music. And it’s one of the best videos I’ve ever seen.

 

3. Swans – «Lunacy»

Great band, great performers. I want to be like Michael Gira

 

4. The Black Keys – «Tighten Up»

After all we also like more mainstream stuff. Don’t be mistaken by the video. This song is perfect fuck/sex/making love soundtrack. Don’t believe me ? Just try.

 

5. Sunn O)))

For the last, you need to see this concert. You’ll realise that good show doesn’t mean a lot of colour lights, talking to people, sing alongs to be interesting. Furthermore…you don’t need songs with verses and choruses.
