Novedades + Especial Spanish Songs Sampled

El nuevo maestro del techno británico Moiré abre nuestra sección de de novedades, seguidos por tres perlas nacionales: la conexión asturiano-sevillana de Futuregold (grupo de Kresy) con Lost Twin, el notable nuevo proyecto de Albert Zaragoza llamado Ria Ekin, y otra conexión asturiana, ésta vez entre Fasenuova y Marc Piñol, que remezcla su hit Cachito Turulo para el sello Hivern. Por último, una colaboración fraguada en los estudios Red Bull en Londres, entre Melé y Salva. El especial de esta semana, ideado y presentado por Gabi Tineo, no tiene despedicio: sabíais que grandes estrellas del hip-hop americano han sampleado canciones españolas de los 70?? pues sí: Noreaga se fijó en Jeanette, Sage Francis en Barrabás, Necro en Juan Carlos Calderón y Jay-z… en Camilo Sesto!! Increíble. La perla final es para dos de los más importantes combos de bossa nova de los 60-70: Tamba Trio y la maravillosas Quarteto Em Cy. Programa calentito-calentito…

The new British techno master Moiré opens our new music section, followed by three spanish gems: Asturian-Seville connection of Futuregold (Kresy band) with Lost Twin, the remarkable new project by Albert Zaragoza Gas (called Ria Ekin), and other Asturian connection, this time between Fasenuova and Barcelona’s best Marc Piñol, who remixed his hit Cachito Turulo for the Hivern Imprint. Finally, a partnership forged in the Red Bull studios in London, between Melé and Salva. The special feature this week, selected and introduced by Gabi Tineo, it’s quite amazing: did you know that some big American hip-hop stars have sampled Spanish 70’s cheesy pop songs?? well yes: Noreaga put his eyes on Jeanette, Sage Francis in Barrabás, Necro did the same with Juan Carlos Calderón and Jay-z with the popular Camilo Sesto(!). Unbelievable. The final «perla» goes out to the collaboration between two of the most important bossa combos of the 60s & 70s: Tamba Trio and teh wonderful Quarteto Em Cy. A very very warm show.
