Sing Swan Songs #70: Caustic Roll Dave & His Favourites

El artista local predilecto de Sing Swan Songs acaba de sacar su estupendo segundo trabajo, Approaching Noise.

Después de las buenas sensaciones de Long Term Blues, este 2o LP confirma que existe un «sonido Caustic» que en Approaching Noise se manifesta en su máximo esplendor. A Caustic Roll Dave (un one man band) resulta difícil clasificarlo en algún estilo concreto. Muchos se limitarán a decir «Blues» y ciertamente constituye la base del sonido, otros muchos dirán «qué rayos?!». El playlist que viene a continuación, hecho en colaboración con el propio Caustic, intercala temas de Approaching Noise con algunos de los temas favoritos del loco del sombrero, las gafas y el megáfono.

De la mezcla de todos ellos y del afán exploratorio del propio Caustic surge Approaching Noise. Pocos LPs habrá este año que lo superen.
